Ula Sowa Przybylska is
aN xr artist, creative technologist and a visual anthropologist.
She is very good in coming up with concepts and communicating complex ideas through immersive projects. She loves to develop game-based experiences.
Her last VR documentary called SWARM was based on a parallel of a hive mind of a group of Polish pro-choice protesters and a colony of bees.
Commisiond by Leibniz Center for Agricultural Landscape Research she developed an AR cook book in order to promote knowledge about sustainable grocery shopping and cooking.
As a part of Filmuniversity Babelsberg’s project COLLISIONS she was a part of a team developing a concept for Sergiei Eisenstein’s archive in VR.
Recently she has recived an Artistic Research Prize for a poetic sound-walk project Sonic Futures that explores the wisdom of nature.
She is a part of World of Us’ research team, working on decolonial metaverse for children.
Ula is interested in utopias, feminism, social movements and collectivism and she is ready to explore the documentary potential of game-like experiences. She has worked in game studios and art galleries, has experience with game engines and some coding knowledge.
